The MOH just revealed new guidelines to combat the spike in COVID-19 cases
After Bahrain recorded the highest number of positive patients in a 24 hour period yesterday, the Ministry of Health has announced new measures to help curb the spread of COVID-19.
From May 21 until June 3, only vaccinated adults who can show the green shield on their BeAware app can access malls, cinemas, and most indoor services. Only supermarkets, banks and pharmacies are exempt from this.
All private gatherings will also be limited to only 6 people at a time.
Lt Col Dr Manaf al Qahtani, who is the monitoring committee head for the National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus, also said that only 6% of active cases had been vaccinated, which revealed how efficient the vaccines are.
94% of active cases at the moment have not received even the first dose of any vaccine.
