Wow! Bahrain Has Launched Its First Ever Water Taxi & Here’s All You Need to Know

Bahrain has officially launched its first-ever water taxi project, offering a new and exciting way to travel across the island by sea. The service uses air conditioned boats to connect popular waterfront spots, giving both locals and tourists a fresh transport option. The project was launched by Masar Group with the support of Mumtalakat, Bahrain’s sovereign wealth fund. The inauguration took place in the presence of the Minister of Tourism and the CEO of Mumtalakat. This new initiative aims to boost tourism, improve transportation options and support Bahrain’s long term goals for economic growth and sustainability.

The boats are locally built and designed to carry up to 28 passengers and come equipped with refreshments like drinks and snacks to make the journey more comfortable. The water taxi will operate across six main stations, including The Avenues, Four Seasons Hotel and Sa’ada Jetty. Passengers can easily book their rides through the Masar mobile app, making it a convenient way to explore Bahrain by sea.
