We all love some astronomical action, don’t we?
Recently, a partial solar eclipse was visible in Bahrain and our incredibly talented local photographers perfectly captured the moment for us all to witness the phenomenon! Here’s another piece of news for you all! 2 spectacular meteor showers will light up our skies this year! The Leonid Meteor Shower, coming from the Leo constellation, will take place on November 17 and 18, and the Geminids Meteor Shower on December 14 and 15!
Talk about ending the year on a bright sky!
You can watch and witness the event without any special equipment, all you really need is a clear sky and a lot of patience! The optimal meteor shower viewing window is around 2 a.m. till dawn so make sure you’re at a secluded viewing spot, away from the city lights!
