Bahrain’s jiu-jitsu superstar, Ali Monfaradi, just added two more gold medals to his already overflowing trophy cabinet! He totally crushed it at the AJP Tour Ulaanbaatar Jiu Jitsu Championship 2023 in Mongolia, winning both his GI and NO-GI fights like a boss. And get this, his cousin Mahmood Alnajjar also brought home two golds in both categories! Bahrain’s team must have been over the moon with all that bling.
If you think that’s impressive, hold on to your hats because Ali has won over 200 medals since he got his black belt in 2017. That’s a whole lot of hardware, folks! And he’s not just fighting any old Joe Schmo, he’s taking on high-level black belts like it’s no biggie. Nine fights in two days? No problemo for this champ!
Ali was so stoked about his wins, he took to Instagram to share the love, saying, “Not to come home empty-handed, I did 3 tournaments in 2 days. 9 fights, all high-level black belts 💯 Mongolia, it’s always a pleasure. Until next time.” You can just feel the excitement and energy radiating from his post.
It’s clear that Bahrain is a force to be reckoned with in the jiu-jitsu world, and Ali Monfaradi is leading the charge. He’s truly an inspiration to anyone who wants to achieve greatness through hard work and dedication. So, let’s give this dude a round of applause for his awesome performance and wish him all the best for his future competitions.
Go Ali, go Bahrain!
