Let’s be honest, cartoons that 90’s babies watched were superior to what kids are watching now. It is just a fact of life. We not only had better animation but the characters and story line made it one to never forget. Not just us, our parents would sit and watch all these cartoons with us as well, a moment full of fun and laughter, and man do we miss it! So here’s us taking you to a nostalgic trip with a few unforgettable ones:
The Powerpuff Girls
This cartoon right here was definitely a mix of sugar, spice and everything nice. With 3 brave girls saving the city against the coolest evils of all time, specially Mojo Jojo! Blossom, Bubbles or Buttercup, which power puff were you?
Courage the Cowardly Dog
We interrupt this program to bring you, Courage – the bravest dog ever! Seriously, this one right here, has given a take on all our emotions at once. This super creepy yet full of love show, makes us all want to have a Courage to our Muriel, plus shows us the unconditional love dogs shower upon us.
Scooby Dooby Doo
How can we forget this group of young detectives solving the weird unsolvable mysteries, but you know who stole the show every time? You’re right! The talking Great Dane, our fave, Scooby! And don’t tell us you never craved for a scooby snack! Cause we sure did!
Samurai Jack
A samurai named Jack, that much was evident from the title, but a demonic overlord? War? Time travel? Samurai Jack introduced an entire generation to sci fi, fantasy, and having taken place in Japan even mythology. The theme song for Samurai Jack was the first time we even heard techno, and we’ve been hooked ever since.
Pokemon : Indigo League
I wanna be the very best, that no one ever was! The fact that we still remember the words to a season that ended nearly two decades ago is a real testament to how loved it really was. Plus, all of us wanted a cute animal with powers that kept repeating its own name over and over again. Pika pika!
Ed, Edd n’ Eddy
3 crazy friends figuring out a way to fit in, airheaded Ed, smart Edd or Double- D and the witty Eddy. This trio and their troubles growing up, sure made us laugh uncontrollably. And also, where are dem Jawbreakers at?
Tom & Jerry
The real OG of all cartoons. This truly needs no explanation whatsoever! No matter how old you are, you can never get enough of Tom & Jerry, forever in our heart.
Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy
Mandy – the fierce bossy girl, along with Billy, the dim yet super excited boy and our very own Grim – the skeleton personification of death. All their adventures, scheming and weirdness makes this cartoon one of our faves.
Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends
Didn’t we all have an imaginary friend at some point (some of us still do)? This show taught us the true meaning of friendship, not just with humans. The diverse characters and touching storyline makes it the most perfect blend.
Ben 10
This one was a baller from the beginning. Ben, on his family trip discovers a watch, The Omnitrix, which literally got stuck on his wrist and helped him transform into 10 different aliens with unique superpowers to fight against different monsters. And man, oh man, do we wish we had the super awesome watch.
Codename: Kids Next Door
5 kids in a Treehouse headquarter take against the world with their unique abilities and let’s face it! We all wanted to be a part of this cool group. Kids Next Door! Battle station!!
Looney Tunes
Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Marvin the Martian, Lola Bunny, and sooo many more. This iconic tv series is still going strong today, with the New Space Jam movie featuring them extensively. I mean… we get it.
Dexter’s Laboratory
Dexter and DeeDee, the quintessential brother and sister duo. Dexter, the smart one, DeeDee, the airhead and two oblivious parents. That was it, that was the premise of this show. But my oh my, did we have a lot of fun with this show though.

خلونا نكون صادقين، الرسوم الكرتونية الي طالعها الأطفال أيام التسعينيات كانت من أفضل الكارتونات انها مجرد حقيقة لا يمكن نكرانها. ماكنا نطالع فقط أفضل رسوم متحركة ولكن الشخصيات وخط القصة خلتها عالقة بذكرياتنا. مو بس إحنا، حتى آباؤنا يجلسون ويشاهدون كل هذه الرسوم الكرتونية معانا مع لحظات مليئة بالمرح والضحك! راح ناخذكم معانا في رحلة حنين إلى الماضي مع عدد قليل من الرحلات التي لا تُنسى:
فتيات القوة
كان هذا الكارتون اللذيذ بمكوناته مزيج من السكر والتوابل وكل شيء جميل. مع 3 فتيات شجاعات ينقذن المدينة من الأشرار بكل خفة و في كل العصور، وخاصة موجو جوجو! Blossom، Bubbles or Buttercup، أي قوة كانت تعجبكم؟

نقطع هذا البرنامج لنقدم لكم، عنوان الشجاعة – أشجع كلب على الإطلاق! على محمل الجد ، أخذ كل مشاعرنا ووقتنا في وقت واحد. هذا الكلب الصغير الفائق والمليء ببرنامج الحب، يجعلنا جميعًا نرغب في الحصول على الشجاعة لموريل لدينا، بالإضافة إلى إظهارالحب غير المشروط للكلاب.
سكوبي دوبي دو
كيف يمكننا أن ننسى هذه المجموعة من المحققين الشباب وهم يحلون الألغاز الغريبة التي لا يمكن حلها، أكيد كلنا نعلم من يسرق العرض في كل مرة؟ أنت على حق! الدانماركي العظيم المتكلم، المفضل لدينا ، سكوبي! ولا تخبرنا أنك لم تتوق إلى تناول وجبة خفيفة من سكوبي! لأننا فعلنا كان ودنا!
Samurai Jack
ساموراي يُدعى جاك ، هذا واضحًا من العنوان ، لكن ساد شيطاني؟ حرب؟ السفر عبر الزمن؟ قدم ساموراي جاك جيلًا كاملاً من الخيال العلمي، والفنتازيا ، وحدثت أحداثه في اليابان بلد الأساطير. كانت الأغنية الرئيسية لساموراي جاك هي المرة الأولى التي سمعنا فيها تكنو، ونحن مدمنون عليها منذ ذلك الحين.
بوكيمون
أريد أن أكون الأفضل، لم يكن هناك أحد على الإطلاق! حقيقة أننا ما زلنا نتذكر الكلمات لموسم انتهى قبل ما يقرب من عقدين من الزمن هي شهادة حقيقية على مدى حبنا وتعلقنا فيه. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، كلنا أردنا حيوان لطيف يتمتع بقوى استمر في تكرار اسمه مرارًا وتكرارًا. بيكا بيكا!

باغز باني ودافي داك ومارفن ذا مارتيان ولولا باني وغيرهم الكثير. لا يزال هذا المسلسل التلفزيوني الأيقوني قوي حتى اليوم ، مع عرض فيلم Space Jam الجديد على نطاق واسع. أعني … صار كامل من جميع الجهات.
مختبر دكستر
دكستر وديدي ، الأخ والأخت الثنائي المثالي. دكستر ، الصبي الذكي ، ديدي ، أخته البلهاء الحشرية والداهما الغافلان. كان هذا هو ، كان هذا هو منطلق هذا العرض. لكن شكثر استمعتنا على هالكارتون وننتظره على أحر من الجمر!
