Meet Mr. Syed Hameed, the awesome grandpa who decided to plant trees and beautify Buri Primary Girls School, all out of the goodness of his heart. Why, you ask? Well, it’s because his granddaughters, Fatima and Baneen Al-Sayyid Jafar, are students there.
So, what’s he been up to? Mr. Syed Hameed teamed up with the school gang and gave the school garden a serious glow-up. Picture palm trees, jasmine, and roses turning the place into a floral paradise. And that’s not all – he threw in some cool heritage-style sculptures, like those straw houses you’d find in a storybook. Oh, and get this – he’s even planning to make benches out of palm trunks for everyone to chill!
When asked about his motivation, he said, “I wanted to leave a beautiful mark in this school, and I am happy to see the happiness on the faces of the children. I love to contribute to improving the environment around us.”
Granddaughter Fatima said, “I am proud of you, Grandpa. You made the school a more beautiful and vibrant place, and I enjoy playing in the garden that you planted.”
Granddaughter Baneen added, “I felt immense happiness seeing Grandpa dedicating himself with love to his work, spreading positive energy in the school, and encouraging all students to give and take initiative.”
The school’s administration praised him for his efforts, which are part of the project launched by the school under the title “My Mark in My Daughter’s School.” This initiative aims to get the community involved in improving the education environment! And have parents closer than ever with the school.
