This year’s 65th Annual Grammy Award Ceremony was quite eventful! Let’s go through some of the things that occurred, shall we?

1. Trevor Noah returned as host for a third time!

Music’s biggest night returned to Los Angeles last night and Trevor Noah returned as host for a third time!

2. Beyonce made history, breaking the record for the most Grammy wins of all time with 32 total awards!

Beyonce won Best R&B Song for Cuff It and Best Dance Electronic/Music Album for Renaissance. She also took home Best Traditional R&B Performance.

3. Harry Styles won album of the year for “Harry’s House.

Harry Styles took home the trophy for album of the year at the Grammy Awards for his 2022 hit album “Harry’s House! He also won the award for Best Pop Vocal Album!

4. The ceremony celebrated 50 years of hip-hop!

This year, the ceremony featured a number of performances that nodded to celebrating the music itself! Busta Rhymes, Method Man, Queen Latifah, Missy Elliot, and more celebrated 50 years of hip-hop with a medley!

5. Viola Davis earned the EGOT status — becoming the third Black woman in history to achieve the honor!

Viola Davis won a Grammy for the best audiobook, narration, and storytelling recording for the audiobook of her memoir “Finding Me”, completing the star’s EGOT collection. (An EGOT is an artist who has won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and a Tony Award in their career.)

6. Fashion was obviously a highlight!

This year’s Grammy Awards had some notable looks from Harry Styles’ crystal-encrusted jumpsuit to Cardi B’s dangerously sharp blue and silver gown – the red carpet was in action!
