History and art!
The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities has announced a series of events to celebrate International Museum Day which will run from the 13th to the 24th of May. The International Council of Museums (ICOM) established the International Museum Day in 1977 which became a worldwide event held annually on and around the 18th of May. Partake in a bunch of activities to honor our history and culture!
From lectures to workshops and tours, take time out to soak in history and participate in a wide range of activities! The events will take place from the 13th to the 24th of May at Bahrain National Museum and Qal’at Al Bahrain Site Museum!
All the events are free of charge, the museum entrance will be free as well! A 15% discount will also be offered by Darseen Cafe at the Bahrain National Museum from 18th-20th of May!
