Lieutenant-General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, the Chief of Public Security, took a hands-on tour to check out the preparations and arrangements by the Ministry of Interior’s directorates and departments for the upcoming Ashura season. The Ministry is all about making sure the season goes down in a safe and secure atmosphere.
He highlighted that, following the directives of Lieutenant-General His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, every possible measure has been taken to ensure Ashura is celebrated in a safe and orderly manner. Emphasizing the importance of a solid community partnership with various institutions and individuals, the Ministry’s directorates and departments have made all the necessary arrangements to guarantee security, order, and public safety throughout the season.
The Chief of Public Security gave a shoutout to the heads of the Hussainiyas and mourning processions for their cooperation with the authorities, ensuring everyone’s safety and security. He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all the official and civil entities that are collaborating in these efforts.
