Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) is gearing up for its 2024 edition! Bahrain is here to make a statement as a commercial and tourism hub. The airshow serves as a platform for aerospace and defense industry demands while showcasing Bahrain’s exponential development and attracting global expertise!
The Royal Bahrain Air Force (RBAF) recently got new advanced fighter jets called “F-16 Block 70” from Lockheed Martin. This makes Bahrain the first country in the world to have these super-advanced planes. They also added three new Bell 505 helicopters, which make their air force even stronger. At the same time, Bahrain International Airport had a huge increase in the number of people flying. In 2022, they welcomed 6.9 million passengers, which is a huge 127.5% increase from the previous year. Gulf Air, the national airline, has introduced new things like Gulf Air Holidays and a partnership with Emirates, which lets people easily connect to lots of different places around the world.
