If Thursday wasn’t enough to get you in the right mood, we’ve got a great news that’ll do the thing. Bahrain is getting a public pet park with a shelter for stray dogs and we couldn’t be more happy! The construction of the park is set to start as soon as a suitable area for it is allotted, and it’ll take around 3 years for the park to be ready.
Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry’s Agriculture and Marine Resources vet clinics and disease control section chief Dr Abbas Al Hayki, said, “It would take three years to complete the park once land is allocated. We are aiming to provide tourist and educational activities besides animal services.”
The park will also offer domestic animals, including dogs up for adoption and will also feature a safe and clean shelter for dogs. This is such good news and we can’t wait for this plan to be executed!

خبر سار: البحرين بتسوي حديقة للحيوانات الأليفة فيها مأوى للكلاب الضالة!
الأشياء الزينة ياية!
إذا ما كان يوم الخميس الونيس مصدر مناسب لتغيير حالتكم المزاجية للأفضل، فالأخبار الزينة عندنا. البحرين راح تسوي حديقة عامة للحيوانات الأليفة فيها مأوى للكلاب الضالة و ماتدرون شكثر هالخبر أسعدنا! من المقرر أن يبدأ إنشاء الحديقة بمجرد تخصيص المنطقة المناسبة لها، و المشروع راح يستغرق حوالي 3 سنوات حتى تصبح الحديقة جاهزة.
من جهته، قال الدكتور عباس الحايكي رئيس قسم الأشغال وشؤون البلديات والتخطيط العمراني في وزارة الزراعة والموارد البحرية ورئيس قسم مكافحة الأمراض: “سيستغرق إستكمال الحديقة ثلاث سنوات بمجرد الحصول على الأرض المخصصة. هدفنا هو تقديم أنشطة سياحية وتعليمية إلى جانب خدمات الحيوانات “.
سيكون في الحديقة أيضًا حيوانات أليفة، بما في ذلك الكلاب للتبني وستضم أيضًا مأوى آمنًا ونظيفًا للكلاب. هذي الأخبار الزينة و حدنا حماس حتى يتم تنفيذ هذا المشروع!
