On January 17, HH Sh Nasser bin Hamad and HH Sh Khaled attended the third round of the Bahrain International Horse Racing Championship, held under the patronage of HH Sh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa. This exciting race was part of the 2024/2025 racing season. The competition featured several prestigious cups, including the Sheikh Isa bin Salman Cup and those for his sons, Sheikh Hamad, Sheikh Abdullah, and Sheikh Salman. Other cups like the Al Adiyat, Al Wasmiya, and Huntsman Company Cups were also contested. The event was attended by various prominent figures, including His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman, who presented the winners with their trophies. The winners included trainers George Scott, Haider Ibrahim, and Jafar Marzooq, along with jockey Shimi Heffernan. The race brought thrilling moments and captivated a large audience at the Arfa racetrack.
