HM King Hamad welcomed Minister Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak and Francisco Javier Gómez González, Manager of the Spanish Riding School of Córdoba, at Al Safriya Palace. During the visit, González presented HM King Hamad with a stunning Andalusian horse, praised for its elegance and exceptional skills in dressage. HM King Hamad emphasized the role of equestrian sports in fostering cultural exchange and strengthening international ties.
The Minister also gifted HM King Hamad a handcrafted model of an Arabian horse by Argentine artist Augusto Daniel Gallo, marking the Bahrain Animal and Agricultural Production Exhibition, Mara’ee 2024.
González expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and commended Bahrain’s world-renowned Arabian horse stables and its achievements in equestrian sports, which continue to bring global recognition to the Kingdom.
