Get ready to welcome back our Saudi neighbors! It was announced that the King Fahd Causeway will be reopening next month just after Eid, at a gradual pace. There were previous announcements that the bridge between Bahrain and Saudi could potentially open back up on July 27.
During closures, the bridge actually underwent some upgrades like new gates and automated payment portals that are contactless to maintain the safety of travelers and authorities on the bridge.
