Proud! Bahrain Bags a Total of 21 Medals on Day 2 of the Isf Gymnasiade 2024

Bahrain is shining at the ISF Gymnasiade 2024, with young athletes showcasing their talent and determination. By the end of day two, Bahrain’s medal tally reached 20, including 5 gold, 5 silver, and 10 bronze medals.

The athletics team excelled with 7 medals:

  • Gold: Raihana Ghorobah (100m), Sufin Hasmaw (400m)
  • Silver: Ahmed Sabri (high jump), Laila Kamal (100m), Mohammed Al Mudhahi (para discus throw)
  • Bronze: Abbas Abkar (100m), Alaa Sami (400m)

In Karate, Bahrain earned 8 medals:

  • Gold: Sarah Hani – over 60kg
  • Silver: Muhannad Mussa – over 70kg
  • Bronze: Mohamed Ahmed Al Ahmed – over 75kg
    Fawzia Al Amiri – over 55kg
    Mohamed Hamid – under 55kg
    Dana Mohammed Fazea – under 55kg
    The boys’ team included : Abdullah Al Murbati, Mohamed Hamid, Ali Ismail, and the girl’s team included: Fawzia Al Amiri, Dana Mohammed Fazea, Sarah Hani both won bronze.
