The General Directorate of Traffic has cracked down on motorcycles without registration plates this year, seizing a total of 156 bikes. They’ve been enforcing laws to ensure motorcycle riders have valid licenses and wear helmets. Seizing 28 motorcycles just in the past two weeks alone.
Highlighting the dangers of these violations, especially in residential areas, the Directorate emphasized the importance of obeying traffic rules for everyone’s safety. They called on parents to play a role in preventing accidents involving their children and others on the roads!
