Strengthening Ties! HM King Hamad Sends a Written Letter To Pope Francis

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has sent a written message to His Holiness Pope Francis at the Vatican. The letter was delivered by Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, Minister of Public Affairs at the Royal Court, during a meeting in the Vatican City. The message focused on strengthening the strong ties between Bahrain and the Vatican. It also highlighted ongoing cooperation between the King Hamad Digital Library and the Vatican Apostolic Library.

The Vatican Apostolic Library, established in the 15th century, is home to a remarkable collection of manuscripts and books in various languages, including Arabic. These works cover various topics like medicine, astronomy, mathematics, and literature, showcasing a rich global knowledge-sharing history. This gesture reflects Bahrain’s commitment to fostering meaningful cultural and intellectual exchanges with the Vatican.
