Bahrain is set to build a new airport in the northern region, currently undergoing a feasibility study. This ambitious project aims to handle 50 million passengers annually, addressing the expected demand after Bahrain International Airport reaches its maximum capacity in 2035.
The new airport will be strategically located near Fasht Al Jarim and connect to major highways leading to Diyar Al Muharraq and Suhailah Island, near Salman City. This development is part of Bahrain’s larger efforts to enhance its infrastructure and boost tourism. The initiative reflects the kingdom’s commitment to improving travel and connectivity for both residents and visitors
How Exciting!
