Brace yourselves, Bahrain! The weather is cranking up the intensity with strong northwesterly winds starting today and lasting until Friday. The Ministry of Transport & Telecommunications has issued a warning, urging everyone to stay safe and be prepared.
The wind speeds are set to range from 12 to 17 knots, with gusts reaching up to 25 knots at times during the day. If you’re planning to be out and about, keep an eye out for rising sand in certain areas, although the weather is expected to become generally fine by tonight.
Sea conditions will vary, with waves reaching 1 to 3 feet inshore and 3 to 6 feet offshore. It’s definitely a good time to double-check your outdoor plans and make sure everything is secured.
Temperature-wise, expect a scorching maximum of 44ºC and a minimum of 30ºC, with humidity levels fluctuating between 5% and 70%.
