We’re here for this!
Earth Hour is an annual event organized worldwide in order to raise awareness and encourage a commitment to nature. The event, which is organized by the World Wide Fund For Nature, occurs on the last Saturday of every March. If you’re unfamiliar with how the event is held, it basically goes like this: Everyone around the world is encouraged to turn off their lights from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm and Bahrain International Airport celebrated the hour in the right way!
Earth Hour’s this year’s theme: a nature-positive future. The WWF is calling the world to unite in a moment of solidarity for people and the planet; reversing nature loss by 2030! This is in line with BIA’s commitment to operating the airport as an environmentally friendly and efficient facility!
On the right track!
