UAE astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi performed the first Arab spacewalk outside the International Space Station yesterday! Sultan was scheduled to spend seven hours outside the ISS on a key maintenance assignment. Yet, the live broadcast of the spacewalk on Nasa totaled nine hours!
261 spacewalks have taken place at the orbiting science laboratory since 1998!
A huge achievement!
