Historic win!
Bahrain’s National Men’s Volleyball Team has won a bronze medal at the 2022 Asian Volleyball Confederation Cup which took place in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand! Team Bahrain defeated South Korea 3-0 to secure third place in the tournament! This is an exceptional win for our country and we’re super proud of our young athletes!
Bahrain participated for the first time in the AVC event which featured 11 teams from the continent of Asia including China, Japan, Iran, and Pakistan!
Other than the victory, two of our players got awarded for individual performances! Mohamed Abdulla won the award for the Best Outside Hitter and Husain Sultan was named the tournament’s Best Libero!
China won the gold medal.
