HH Sh Khalid proudly attended the Children’s Triathlon Race at Sofitel Zallaq on October 19, 2024. Organized by The Triathlete Factory Academy with support from the Bahrain Olympic Committee, the event celebrated young athletes from different age groups, ranging from 6 to 15 years old.
The triathlon included swimming, cycling, and running, and the top three winners in each category were awarded by Sheikh Khalid himself. Prominent guests included Sheikh Salman bin Khalid Al Khalifa and Fares Mustafa Al-Kooheji.
Sheikh Khalid expressed his joy in seeing such a great turnout of young participants and stressed the importance of encouraging children to engage in sports. The event promoted fitness and emphasized adopting a healthy lifestyle from a young age. It was a proud moment for Bahrain’s sporting community!
