A Middle Eastern Art Exhibition Focused On Mental Health Is Happening Virtually This Weekend

Discussions get better when they’re expressed through art!

The Art Space is a new art gallery in Bahrain that has organized various exhibitions supporting local and regional artists since they opened last October. SAFER SPACES will be their first virtual exhibit.

The exhibition will go live this Friday, July 10, on Art Space Gallery’s social media

The gallery’s project will showcase talented artists from Bahrain and across the GCC who have answered the open call for art submissions to open a dialogue about mental health. SAFER SPACES aims to be an online collective consciousness in the Middle East to explore and discuss the mind’s many expressions, generally as well as because of these times. Through the exhibit, Art Space Gallery hopes to encourage the audience to dig deeper and have these conversations around mental health.

Organized from Bahrain, it will be the Middle East’s first virtual art exhibition tackling Mental Health

The 19 artists from the GCC will feature 70 pieces of artwork that tackle various topics circling mental health, like why people are hesitant to be vulnerable about well-being and the importance of self-love and self-care.
