If you’ve never visited La Fontaine, Bahrain’s first contemporary art centre, you SERIOUSLY need to go!
This beautiful and historical monument is found in the heart of Manama beside the Manama Souq, and is culturally significant to Bahrain.
The family mansion was renovated and transformed into this one of a kind contemporary space that holds special events, art exhibitions, and concerts at the art gallery and amphitheater.
There’s also a fine-dining restaurant within, as well as a spa and pilates studio!
La Fontaine has been closed for the majority of this year as per the Ministry’s decisions to temporarily shutter businesses’ doors to limit COVID-19 spread.
But phases of re-opening have been announced for August and September.
Which is why La Fontaine has recently shared the news of the spa terrace pool reopening for ladies! You can book ahead for the relaxing afternoon which includes refreshments, a fruit basket, tea, and dinner can be booked at the restaurant.
