Lake Inari in Lapland, Finland is described as the perfect backdrop to watch the Northern Lights.
It’s scenically beautiful and so peaceful, offering travelers serene views with its many changing environments. In the cold season the lake is bathed in blue light on a winter polar night and you can catch a beautiful show of the Northern Lights and in the summer and fall season the lake is transformed into an auburn and orange landscape and at midnight you can catch a beautiful “summer night” where the sun doesn’t rise above the horizon.
