The Ministry of Health just announced the opening of a second drive-thru testing center, following the ongoing efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19. The testing center will be set up at the Rashid Equestrian & Horseracing Club in Sakhir. The center will start testing today, Wednesday the 31st of March.
Bahrain is ramping up its efforts to fight the virus
In addition the opening of the new center, efforts to vaccinate the Kingdom’s citizens have been on full blast, with over half a million citizens and residents getting at least the first dose of the vaccine so far!
Bahrain remains one of a few countries that’s offered the vaccine for free to its entire population. Bahraini nationals and residents also have the option to choose between 5 different vaccines – namely: Sinopharm, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sputnik and Johnson & Johnson.
