Recently, a video of the Prime Minister of Finland, Sanna Marin partying with a bunch of her friends went viral on the internet. The video sparked controversy and the opposition parties especially had a lot to say about it… Some demanded a drug test be made public and some just said she isn’t suitable for the role of the PM of the country.
Sanna Marin hit back at critics, saying she was just having fun with her friends and didn’t take drugs, saying she just partied “in a boisterous way”. She said, “I’m disappointed that they’ve become public. I spent the evening with friends. Partied, pretty wild, yes. Danced and sang.”
She added “I haven’t used drugs, so it’s not a problem to go for a test. But I also think it’s quite unusual that something like this is required,” as reported in The Guardian. “I have free time that I spend with my friends. I’m pretty sure that’s the same as many people my age.”
A prime minister doesn’t have it all sorted out afterall!
