A much-needed Friday morning out
With the new tiered system that the MOH has announced last night, many services in Bahrain will be reopening tentatively for the next week. One of those is dining in and out at restaurants & cafes! We’ve been longing for those breakfast (and lunch… and dinner…) vibes on those weekend mornings, so it’s only fitting to bring back our breakfast spots list! Scroll below to check out 10 spots you can grab breakfast at this weekend.
Lumee Street Cafe
Lumee is one of the best spots in town; a traditional breakfast with beautiful scenery – who could ask for more? They have three locations: The Avenues, Saar Mall and Al Aali Mall.
Oak
Oak is the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet breakfast before a big day, it’s right in the middle of Riffa in RUW corner.
Cafe Lilou
What can we say about Cafe Lilou that hasn’t already been said? It’s a Bahraini staple! You can even celebrate Eid morning with your family at home, with a whole Eid spread!
Nomad Urban Eatery
Nomad is a must-visit eatery right in the middle of Seef. You can visit them in The Courtyard – definitely try their sharing boards with burrata cheese. Call Nomad on 17000330 to pre-book your tables!
The Orangery
The Orangery is is a beautiful spot, with some of the best tea & breakfast sets in town. We recommend the their world famous french toast and their falafel waffle!
Shakespeare & Co.
Over in the lovely Zallaq Springs. Shakespeare & Co. is gonna bring on all those ‘proper’ tearoom vibes. Check it out if you haven’t already!
Florence & Dar Zowayed
Florence & Dar Zowayed is a gorgeous restaurant in block 338 – it feels super homey and it’s perfect for some weekend breakfast with the fam.
Hopscotch
Hopscotch is perfect for a casual breakfast, it’s been the IT spot in town for a while! They have amazing pastries (inside and out) and even better vibes – we’re forever suckers for their Granola Bowl!
Baker and Spice
Baker and Spice has some of the best grub in town – just look at this spread! You can have it all at Al Aali Mall.
Haji Cafe
Haji Cafe is one of the oldest restaurants in Bahrain and it’s literally a go-to for early morning breakfast in Manama!! If you’re an early bird, this one’s for you. If you’re not, you gotta try it for a day – no regrets, trust us.
