The National Health Regulatory Authority approved the emergency use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine earlier today. The vaccine, which has a 66% efficacy rate is the 5th to be approved in the country.
Unlike every other vaccine currently available, Johnson & Johnson only requires one dose instead of two!
Johnson & Johnson utilizes AD26 technology – it uses the genetic code to make the spike protein which is then attacked by the human immune system to make antibodies.
