Hope Ventures, the investment arm of Hope Fund, announced the launch of its Television Program, “Beban,” starting Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 6 PM. The program will air on Bahrain Television (BTV) and on Shahid, as the first Bahraini television show on the region’s popular Arabic streaming platform founded by media giant MBC Group.
Beban will be the first-ever reality show for entrepreneurs in Bahrain. Bahraini entrepreneurs will be able to pitch their outstanding businesses at Beban to a panel of local and regional investors with the aim of securing funding and scaling the business both regionally and internationally. As a member and investment representative for Hope Ventures, His Excellency, Aymen bin Tawfeeq Almoayed, Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs, will join the investment panel.
The program will air on Bahrain Television (BTV) and on Shahid, as the first Bahraini television show on the region’s popular Arabic streaming platform. Throughout the month of February, the show will consist of four episodes and air every Wednesday. Three entrepreneurs from select industries, such as technology, manufacturing, sports, and food & beverage, will be featured in each episode.
In the first episode of the program, various businesses within the technology sector will be highlighted; in the second episode, the Food and Beverage sector will be the highlight. Next, the third episode will focus on the Sports industry, followed by the fourth, and final, episode on Manufacturing.
