Bahrain Taxi has launched a new luxury transport service called Elite Black, offering passengers the option to book electric vehicles through its mobile app. The service is available to citizens, residents and visitors, with users able to book rides and make payments directly through the app. Launched with support from the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, Elite Black aims to provide a more modern and sustainable transport option while encouraging the use of electric vehicles in Bahrain.
Bahrain Taxi says it is the first smart taxi app in the Kingdom to offer this type of luxury transport service using electric vehicles. The initiative also supports Bahrain’s efforts to reduce emissions and promote cleaner transportation.
