Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the State of Palestine, met with Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, along with other senior officials and the Ambassador of Bahrain to Palestine.
President Abbas expressed gratitude for the continuous support of Bahrain. And discussed the challenges faced by Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. He called for an immediate end to aggression, the establishment of humanitarian corridors, and a comprehensive political solution based on international legitimacy. President Abbas appreciated Arab countries’ support and called for an emergency Arab summit. The Foreign Minister reiterated Bahrain’s support, emphasizing the Palestinians’ right to their own state with East Jerusalem as its capital. He called for a ceasefire, protection of civilians, and resumption of the peace process. Both parties stressed the importance of ending the suffering and achieving a just settlement.
