Bahrain’s national football team is gearing up for their 2022 World Cup qualifier match against Cambodia tonight at 7:30PM, and His Highness Sheikh Nasser visited them for the most heartwarming pep talk!
HH Sheikh Nasser also played some football with them, and noted how much of a momentous occasion this is for the team, and the country.
In his caption, he writes: “We will play for this flag. And all I have to tell you is that our national team is hyped up and ready for the challenge. This flag has a story. I took it from our soldiers and gave it to our players to remind them what it means to go out there and fight hard. Both have the same task, and both will achieve it insha’Allah. Let’s do this boys!!”

يستعد فريق البحرين الوطني لمباراة تصفيات كأس العالم لعام 2022 ضد كمبوديا الليلة في الساعة السابعة والنصف مساءً. وقد تمت زيارة الفريق من قبل الشيخ ناصر بن حمد آل خليفة بكل تشجيع من القلب.
كما قام سموه الشيخ ناصر بلعب كرة القدم مع الفريق، ولاحظ سموه مدى أهمية هذه المناسبة للفريق وللبلد بأكمله.
وذكر الشيخ ناصر على صفحته بالإنستقرام كاتباً: “سنلعب من أجل هذا العلم، ويجب أن أخبركم بأن فريقنا الوطني متحمس للغاية ومستعد للتحدي. وهذا العلم له قصته. وأخذت من جنودنا وأعطيت للاعبين لتذكيرهم بما يعني القتال بجد. وكلاهما لديهم نفس المهمة، وسيحقق كلاهما هذه المهمة بإذن الله. هيا نفوز بها”.
متحمسين جداً لهذه المباراة، ونتمنى للفريق حظً موفقاً.
