F1 has always been a highlight of every year here in Bahrain, and this year is no different.
Except, Bahrain will be the season opener!
Bahrain opened the season previously in 2006 and in 2010!
It will also be the second time the F1 season opens and ends in the Middle East, as the season will end in Abu Dhabi’s Yas Circuit, which was the same case in 2010.
2021 CALENDAR UPDATE— Formula 1 (@F1) January 12, 2021

Bahrain’s Grand Prix is scheduled to begin on the 26th of March and end on the 28th. This decision came as a result of Australia (the usual season opener) having to postpone their Grand Prix due to Covid-19.
