Enhancing Family Welfare: Bahrain MPs Propose 20BD Monthly Allowance for Children

Representative Mohammed Ahmed is shaking things up with a cool proposal – giving every Bahraini family a monthly child allowance. Hanging out with fellow MPs Mohamed Al-Refai, Ahmed Qaratah Muhammad Al-Husseini, and Munir Sarour, Ahmed is all about giving families a leg up.

The proposed amount is BD20 per month for each kid however it’s capped at four kids per family. The goal is to help families handle rising prices and tough times in Bahrain.
Who’s eligible? Bahraini citizens living in the Kingdom who are heads of the family.  If they lose this criteria or their kids turn 18 and can’t work, the allowance stops.

With this move, Bahrain’s MPs are flipping the script, putting families first and setting a path toward smoother sailing!

Empowering Bahraini families!
