As we all know, Forbes is a very prestigious magazine. And the yearly lists they put out recognizing the best in talent is the dream of every entrepreneur out there. Well, two Bahraini entrepreneurs have made it onto Forbes 30 under 30 Middle East list, and we are so proud.
Ahmed Alawadhi, 27, and Ahmed Mahmood, 25, the founders of the Doctori app are recognized as the region’s most promising young talent.
The Doctori app gives users 24/7 access to healthcare professionals via video conferences. The app also includes electronic prescriptions and medical reports in partnership with various hospitals such as AlSalam and Royal Hospital.
In the first round of fundraising, the company raised $700,000 as seed money. And with operations already set up in Saudi and Kuwait, the Doctori app is quickly becoming a staple for all. They’re also planning on expanding to India and Pakistan by 2022.
Innovators were sorted into six categories: sport, e-commerce, technology, and finance, as well as creative. This included entertainment and social media stars, and impact, which included policy, education, healthcare, and social entrepreneurship.
The Forbes 30 under 30 list features 38 individuals from 20 different countries, but Alawadhi and Mahmood are the only Bahraini entrants. The most entrants, 12 are from the UAE.

في المرحلة الأولى من جمع التبرعات، جمعت الشركة 700000 دولار كبداية. ومع بدء العمليات بالفعل في السعودية والكويت، أصبح تطبيق Doctori بسريعة عنصر أساسي للجميع. كما أنهم يخططون للتوسع في الهند وباكستان بحلول عام 2022.
