Looking out for us
As part of the financial and economic stimulus package to help sustain the economy through the pandemic, the Government will pay 100% of Bahraini workers’ salaries in June and 50% for July and August. The sectors being compensated by the government are as follows:
- Travel and aviation
- Hospitality and restaurants
- Personal services (salons, gyms, games and entertainment)
- Industrial sector
- Health sector
- Transport
- Rehabilitation and training.
- Retail sector (exclusive of food products)
- Administrative services ( public relations, media and events management
- Real estate, engineering, technical and contracting bureaus
- Local newspapers and magazines
- Any other affected sectors, except big companies.
It’s expected to provide some stability and relief to businesses that have been severely affected due to the pandemic, and we’re sure everyone is super grateful for the move!

خبر سار: دعم رواتب المواطنين العاملين بالقطاع الخاص في 12 قطاعاً
وكجزء من حزمة التحفيز المالي والاقتصادي للمساعدة في دعم الاقتصاد خلال هذا الوباء ، سوف تدفع الحكومة 100% من رواتب العمال البحرينيين لشهر يونيو، و50% خلال شهري يوليو وأغسطس.
وقد شمل القرار القطاعات المتضررة من الجائحة، وهي:
- قطاع السفر والطيران
- الضيافة والمطاعم
- الخدمات الشخصية (الصالونات وصالات الرياضة والألعاب والترفيه)
- القطاع الصناعي
- القطاع الصحي
- قطاع النقل والمواصلات
- قطاع التأهيل والتدريب (شاملة الحضانات ورياض الأطفال)
- قطاع البيع بالتجزئة (غير المواد الغذائية)
- قطاع الخدمات الإدارية (العلاقات العامة والاعلام وتنظيم الفعاليات)
- قطاع العقارات والمكاتب الهندسية والفنية والمقاولات
- قطاع الصحف والمجلات المحلية
- أية قطاعات أخرى متأثرة باستثناء الشركات الكبرى، وقطاع التأمين، والقطاع المالي والاتصالات والأنشطة العلمية والتقنية والاحترافية والتعليم الجامعي والمدارس، والمستشفيات والصيدليات وقطاع البيع بالتجزئة للمواد الغذائية.
ومن المتوقع أن يوفر هذا القرار بعض الاستقرار والإغاثة للشركات التي تضررت بشدة بسبب الوباء ، ونحن متأكدون من أن الجميع ممتنون للغاية لهذه الخطوة!
