Amphibious buses came to Bahrain and it changed how we all spent a day out in Bahrain. Amphibious buses, for those who don’t know, are buses that can run on the roads of Bahrain, and float in the seas of Bahrain. Pretty cool, huh?
The Bahrain Duck Tours company, which is run by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority(BTEA) operates tours twice a day for BD5. The tour, which is an hour-long, covers 7km on land and then 2.5 km on the sea. The bus leaves at 10 AM and at 4 PM. You can book your tours HERE.
And now, they are adding a new destination into the mix too! The BTEA has announced a new tender to build a slipway for the bus at an undisclosed location.
They even have a cute duck as their mascot. I mean what more could you want?

أعلنت شركة بحرين دك تورز ، التي تديرها هيئة البحرين للسياحة والمعارض (BTEA) ، جولاتها مرتين في اليوم مقابل 5 دينار بحريني. الجولة الواحدة ، تستغرق ساعة ، تغطي 7 كيلومترات على اليابسة ثم 2.5 كيلومتر في البحر. تغادر الحافلة في الساعة 10 صباحًا والساعة 4 مساءً. يمكنكم حجز جولاتكم من هنا.
