The Electricity & Water Authority, Information Authority and E-Government have just announced that applications for installing solar systems on homes and buildings are now open! This is in line with efforts to accelerate ‘the pace of digital transformation in Bahrain,’ and so the different sectors will be collaborating to implement a net measurement system where individuals can apply to install a solar power system at their homes/facilities, at their own expense. This means that people will be utilizing natural energy resources, changing the way in which Bahrain consumes electricity by introducing solar energy in its place.

وزارة الماء والكهرباء تدعو إلى التسجيل لطلبات تركيب الأنظمة الشمسية
وقد أعلنت هيئة الكهرباء والمياه وهيئة المعلومات والحكومة الإلكترونية في أن تطبيقات تركيب الأنظمة الشمسية على المنازل والمباني متاح الآن. ويتماشى ذلك مع الجهود الرامية إلى تسريع وتيرة التحول الرقمي في البحرين، وبالتالي ستتعاون القطاعات المختلفة على تنفيذ نظام قياس صاف حيث يمكن للأفراد تقديم طلباتهم لتركيب نظام الطاقة الشمسية في منازلهم أو مرافقهم على نفقتهم الخاصة. وهذا يعني أن الناس سوف يستخدمون موارد الطاقة الطبيعية، ويغيرون الطريقة التي تستهلك بها البحرين الكهرباء عن طريق إدخال الطاقة الشمسية في مكانها والاستفادة منها.
