Bahrain International Airport recorded 456,000 travelers in August! Talk about a busy month! Not to be outdone, the King Fahd Causeway saw 2.7 million crossings on both sides during the same period. And let’s not forget the maritime ports, where 3,636 passengers set sail for new adventures.

In other news, the Ministry of Interior’s operations room received a total of 14,288 reports in August. Good thing 71% of them were quick response cases, while 24% were traffic-related, and only 5% were security concerns. Kudos to the Coast Guard Command for handling 36 search and rescue missions, along with 10 maritime accidents. They also provided a helping hand in 95 instances.

When it comes to emergencies, the Emergency Call Centre received 3,939 calls. The most common were health-related, with 2,756 cases. They also transported 660 individuals to hospitals and health centers, ensuring everyone gets the care they need. And let’s not forget the brave paramedics who responded to 267 traffic accidents and 218 miscellaneous incidents. Stay safe out there!

Last but not least, a big shoutout to the General Directorate of Civil Defense for handling 1,156 reports. They were there to assist in 621 cases, tackle 181 fire incidents, deal with 65 traffic accidents, and handle 12 falling trees, poles, and signs.
