Aquariums are an oddity. To see some of the most beautiful, majestic and sometimes weird creatures of the sea above it is mesmerising. And with the Bahrain Aquarium opening at the Mall of Dilmunia, we thought now would be a good time to list some of the best aquariums in the GCC.
Bahrain Aquarium- Mall of Dilmunia, Bahrain
The Bahrain Aquarium at the Mall of Dilmunia is the first cylindrical aquarium in a mall in the GCC. The Aquarium holds 700,000 litres of saltwater and 2500 marine animals. They organise educational tours and classes, raising community awareness about the delicate marine life and ecosystem that flourishes in the beautiful waters surrounding Bahrain’s archipelago of islands. Workshops for children and interactive educational classes will provide the opportunity for youngsters to learn about marine life, and what they can do to help preserve and protect the underwater ecosystem.
The National Aquarium- Abu Dhabi,UAE
The National Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the Middle East. And with over 25 different species of sharks and rays, it is also one of the most diverse. Visitors will be able to hand feed sharks measuring up to 2 metres, in a new experience called ‘Shark Encounter’.
Oman Aquarium- Mall of Muscat, Oman
Stretching over an area 8,000 sq m, the Oman Aquarium hosts 30,000 different species of marine animals.
Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo- Dubai Mall, UAE
Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo is home to thousands of aquatic animals, comprising over 140 species. Over 400 Sharks and Rays live in their 10 million litre tank, including Sand Tiger Sharks, Giant Groupers, and a host of other marine species. Visitors can come face to face with their aquatic residents through a series of carefully designed experiences to make sure that you are safe while having memorable moments with your friends and family.

أجمل أحواض الأسماك في دول الخليج
أحواض السمك عالم جميل. لرؤية بعض أجمل مخلوقات البحر وأكثرها فخامة وغرابة في بعض الأحيان، فوقها أمر ساحر. ومع افتتاح أكواريوم البحرين في مول دلمونيا، اعتقد أنه راح يكون الوقت المناسب لإدراج بعض أفضل أحواض السمك في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي.
أكواريوم-مول دلمونيا
يعد أكواريوم البحرين في مول دلمونيا أول حوض أسماك أسطواني في مركز تجاري في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي. يحتوي الأكواريوم على 700000 لتر من المياه المالحة و 2500 حيوان بحري. ينظمون الجولات والدروس التعليمية، لرفع وعي المجتمع حول الحياة البحرية الدقيقة والنظام البيئي الذي يزدهر في المياه الجميلة المحيطة بأرخبيل جزر البحرين. ستوفر ورش العمل للأطفال والفصول التعليمية التفاعلية الفرصة للشباب للتعرف على الحياة البحرية وما يمكنهم فعله للمساعدة في الحفاظ على النظام البيئي تحت الماء وحمايته.
الأكواريوم الوطني – أبو ظبي
الأكواريوم الوطني هو أكبر حوض مائي في الشرق الأوسط. ومع وجود أكثر من 25 نوع مختلف من أسماك القرش والشفنين، واحدة من أكثر الأنواع تنوعًا. سيتمكن الزوار من إطعام أسماك القرش التي يصل ارتفاعها إلى مترين ، في تجربة جديدة تسمى “لقاء القرش”.
عمان أكواريوم – مول مسقط
يمتد أكواريوم عمان على مساحة 8000 متر مربع، ويضم 30000 نوع مختلف من الحيوانات البحرية.
دبي أكواريوم وحديقة الحيوانات المائية – دبي مول
تعد دبي أكواريوم وحديقة الحيوانات المائية موطن لآلاف الحيوانات المائية، والتي تضم أكثر من 140 نوع. يعيش أكثر من 400 من أسماك القرش النمري والراي في خزانات تبلغ 10 ملايين لتر، بما في ذلك أسماك القرش ذات النمر الرملي، ومجموعة كبيرة من الأنواع البحرية الأخرى. يمكن للزوار مواجهة الأحياء المائية وجهاً لوجه من خلال سلسلة من التجارب المصممة بعناية للتأكد من أنك بأمان بينما تقضي لحظات لا تنسى مع أصدقائك وعائلتك.
