How many of us know Rani Juice and Barbican, let’s face it, all of us know them and all of us have tried them! We do know that both these products are from Saudi Arabia, but little did we know, the company which originally started these brands was founded in Bahrain, that too in 1905!
Aujan Group Holding (AGH), formerly known as, Abdulla Aujan & Brothers, is headquartered in Dammam, Saudi Arabia and operates in more than 70 countries, mainly in the Middle East and Africa. Started in 1905 in Bahrain, the company first traded commodities such as tobacco and rice.
They stepped in the beverage industry in 1928, securing the distribution license of Vimto in the Middle East. Rani Orange Float was the company’s first homegrown beverage, introduced in 1982, and in 2011 Coca-Cola acquired a 50% stake in Aujan’s beverages business with establishment of Aujan Coca-Cola Beverages Company (ACCBC) and Rani Refreshments in 2012.
As of now, Rani Juice is part of Unilever Brands.

من منا مايعرف شركة راني جوس وبربيكان، كلنا نعرفهم و جربناهم كلهم! نحن نعلم أن كلا المنتجين من المملكة العربية السعودية ، لكننا لم نكن نعرف سوى القليل ، فالشركة التي بدأت في الأصل هذه العلامات التجارية تأسست في البحرين ، عام 1905!
يقع المقر الرئيسي لمجموعة العوجان القابضة (AGH) ، المعروفة سابقًا باسم عبد الله العوجان وإخوانه ، في الدمام بالمملكة العربية السعودية وتعمل في أكثر من 70 دولة ، خاصة في الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا. بدأت في عام 1905 في البحرين ، وتداولت الشركة سلعًا أولية مثل التبغ والأرز.
لقد تقدموا في صناعة المشروبات في عام 1928 ، وحصلوا على رخصة توزيع فيمتو في الشرق الأوسط. كان Rani Orange Float أول مشروب محلي للشركة ، تم تقديمه في عام 1982 ، وفي عام 2011 استحوذت شركة Coca-Cola على حصة 50 ٪ في أعمال المشروبات في العوجان بتأسيس شركة Aujan Coca-Cola Beverages (ACCBC) و Rani Refreshments في عام 2012 اعتبارًا من الآن ، أصبح Rani Juice جزءًا من Unilever Brands.
