8 ways to boost your immunity in Bahrain

Immunity boost!

The best way to stay healthy during the cold season is to boost your immune system. This can be done by staying active and eating a healthy diet. With that said, here are 8 ways to boost your immunity during this season!

Eat fruits and vegetables

One way to boost your immunity system is by eating fruits and vegetables. Eating fresh fruits and vegetables will help you get more vitamins and minerals into your body, which will help keep you healthy.

Protein, protein, and more protein

Another way to boost your immunity system is by eating foods high in protein. A good example of this would be eggs, yogurt, or meats. These types of foods are very good for your health because they contain many nutrients that are good for you!

Stay hydrated

In addition, to boost your immunity system would be by drinking lots of water every day. The reason this helps boost your immune system is that water helps clean out toxins from the body so they don’t build up inside! It could cause illness later on down the road if not taken care of properly right away!

Exercise

A fourth way would be through exercise on a regular basis (once per week minimum). This can help increase circulation throughout our bodies which helps keep any germs away from us while we’re sleeping at night.

Sleep well

Also, get enough sleep every night—your immune system needs rest too! Getting a minimum of 6 hours – 9 hours each night will help keep it strong while giving you energy during the day so you can work up an appetite for those fruits and veggies we talked about earlier!

Spices & herbs

What’s more, Herbs and spices add a distinctive flavor to foods, and at the same time work to strengthen the immune system and enhance digestion. So add them to your food to make it taste delicious and boost your immunity, specifically eating turmeric, ginger, and red pepper!

Vitamin D

Vitamin “D” is so important for your immunity! Sitting in the morning sun for a few minutes helps the body to activate this vitamin. This vitamin is considered one of the essential micronutrients to strengthen the immune system. You can get it from fatty fish, dairy products, and egg yolks. Also, you can use vitamin D supplements as well, with a doctor’s recommendation, of course.

Omega-3 essential fatty acid

Eating omega-3 found in fatty fish, walnuts, flaxseeds, chia seeds, and vegetable oils in the cold winter also plays a pivotal role in strengthening the body’s immune response! It also helps in promoting brain and heart health and strengthening the white blood cells that resist harmful bacteria and viruses.

Always keep warm and take care of your physical and mental health to avoid getting sick! Stay safe and have a lovely weekend!
