Forbes Middle East Top 100 listed companies 2022
Forbes Middle East’s Top 100 Listed Companies for 2023 included 3 Bahraini firms! The companies were from various sectors, with two companies in the banking and financial sector, while the remaining one was from the industrial sector.
Aluminum Bahrain (Alba)

The first in Bahrain is Alba, the Middle East’s largest producer of aluminum. Since 1990, Alba has invested more than $589 million into environmental conservation.
Numbers-wise, Alba’s market value is $3.9 billion, sales $4.9 billion, net profit $1.1 billion, and assets $7 billion.
Arab Banking Corporation (Bank ABC)

The second is ABC Bank Group, which provides international wholesale banking services, with a network that spreads across five continents and 15 countries.
According to the numbers, their market value is $809 million, sales $2.4 billion, net profit $209 million, and assets $36.6 billion.
National Bank of Bahrain (NBB)

Bahrain National Bank came third, and the bank was established as Bahrain’s first locally-owned bank. Today, it has a network of 26 branches kingdom, with a branch each in Abu Dhabi and Riyadh.
Numbers-wise, NBB’s market value is $3.6 billion, sales $610 million, net profit $188 million, and assets $12.7 billion.
