Bahrain Is Gearing Up For Earth Hour This Month and You Can Play Your Part Too

It’s time to turn those lights off! Earth Hour is an annual event organized worldwide in order to raise awareness and encourage a commitment to nature. The event, which is organized by the World Wide Fund For Nature, occurs on the last Saturday of every March. If you’re unfamiliar with how the event is held, it basically goes like this: Everyone around the world is encouraged to turn off their lights from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

Bahrain’s Electricity and Water Authority has invited all ministers and authorities along with the public to participate in Earth Hour this March 22 and turn off all the unnecessary power for an hour, 8:30pm to 9:30pm.

Join in the movement and pe a part of the initiative this March 22!
