Bahraini runner Abdulla AlKooheji completed the 2025 Chicago Marathon in 3 hours and 47 minutes, earning his fourth star in the World Marathon Majors series. He now has just two races left, Boston and Tokyo, to complete the full set and earn the prestigious Six Star Medal. Since starting in 2014, AlKooheji has run 12 international marathons and taken part in several Ironman 70.3 events. He thanked his family, team and supporters including HH Sheikh Nasser for encouraging a strong sports culture in Bahrain.
