Another record?
Of course! When it comes to our neighbor, Saudi Arabia, we’re never surprised. The Jeddah Super Dome is a Guinness World Record venue, and it’s hosting it’s inaugural event! An exhibition that’ll be running for a whole week, the first event of its kind in Jeddah since the start of the pandemic. And, if we’re going to talk about how massive the dome is, it has an internal area of over 24,000 square meters, a height of 46 meters & a diameter of 210 meters. To put some of this into perspective, it’s the length of over 4 olympic swimming pools… Crazy, right?
The week-long event will be showcasing the accomplishments of the Makkah region, with digital shows that highlight the development of different projects – a statement by the Emirate in Makkah also mentioned that the exhibition would see the launch of the ‘Makkah Days for Programming and Artificial Intelligence,’ which is a pretty big initiative for the Makkah Cultural Forum’s 5th round!

السعودية تستضيف فعالياتها الافتتاحية لأكبر قبة حرة في العالم
وطبعاً مو جديدة على المملكة العربية السعودية.
قبة جدة الي تعتبر أكبر قبة بلا أعمدة في العالم، من المفروض انها تدخل سجل جينيس، وهي تستضيف الحدث الافتتاحي. والمعرض هذا سيعمل لأسبوع كامل، ويعتبر أول حدث من نوعه في جدة من بداية الوباء. وإذا كنا بنتكلم عن مدى ضخامة القبة، فإن مساحتها تزيد عن 24,000 متر مربع وارتفاعها 46 متر وقطرها 210 متر. يعني أطول من 4 برك سباحة أولمبية، متخيلين!
وسيعرض هذا الحدث إنجازات منطقة مكة المكرمة الي بيستمر لمدة أسبوع كامل. مع تقديم عروض رقمية تبرز تطور المشاريع المختلفة. – وذكر بيان صادر عن إمارة مكة المكرمة أيضا أن المعرض سيشهد إطلاق “أيام مكة المكرمة للبرمجة والذكاء الاصطناعي”، وهي مبادرة كبيرة جدا للجولة الخامسة لمنتدى مكة المكرمة الثقافي!
