Saudi Arabia, always coming through with the most fascinating scenes
As if Al Ula itself wasn’t always one of the most mesmerizing sites ever… but if you guys weren’t aware of the ‘Maraya’ over there, you’re about to be even more amazed. The mirror-clad building is the largest of its kind in the entire world. It’s been recognized as such by the Guinness World Records of 2020, where the country entered for having the existing Maraya Concert Hall in the desert region of Al Ula – reflecting the tall sandstone cliffs in the most picturesque way!
The US-based company that manufactured the mirror-cladding did so with the rough terrain of the Saudi desert in mind, so the surroundings are reflected all around you in a mirage effect. The result? Nothing short of mesmerizing… The company talked about the project, saying:
“We highly value the opportunity to support the Royal Commission of Al Ula to achieve its vision for Maraya Concert Hall and capture the essence and mystery of the Al Ula valley through the mirrored glass façade of the building.”

Just imagine being here in person? A mirror room, but on a massive scale… Honestly, amongst all the amazing sights Saudi has for the world to explore, Al Ula will always be at the top of that list!!

“مرايا” أكبر مبنى عاكس في العالم موجود في السعودية
المملكة العربية السعودية تعود لنا بلقطة في قمة الروعة
المبنى الساحر على الإطلاق في العلا. وإن لم تكن على علم بمبنى “مرايا”. فهذا انت هنا وعلى وشك أن تندهش كثيراً بروعة هذا المبنى. يعتبر مبنى “مرايا” هو الأكبر من نوعه في العالم كله. ولقد تم ضم هذا المبنى في سجلات غينيس العالمية لعام 2020. حيث دخلت السعودية في غينيس بسبب وجود هذا المبنى الساحر والمميز الموجود في منطقة العلا الصحراوية – والذي يعكس جمال جبال العلا بأحلى صورة.
وقامت الشركة الأمريكية التي قامت بتصنيع هذه المرايات بواسطة التضاريس الوعرة للصحراء السعودية، لذا فإن المناطق المحيطة تعكس من حولك في تأثير سرابي. وماذا كانت النتيجة؟ لم تكن إلا في قمة الروعة. وتحدثت الشركة عن المشروع قائلة:
“إننا نقدر هذه الفرصة التي أتيحت لنا تقديراً عالياً لدعم لجنة العلا الملكية لتحقيق رؤيتها لمبنى “مرايا” والتقاط جوهر وسر جمال وادي العلا من خلال هذه الواجهة الزجاجية المرئية للمبنى”. المدير التسويقي أسمن هودزج لشركة AME في الغارديان جلاس.
فقط تخيل معنا أن تكون هناك شخصياً أمام هذا المبنى! وبكل صراحة، من بين كل المناطق الجميلة بالسعودية التي يمكن للعالم أن يستكشفها، تبقى العلا على رأس تلك القائمة دوماً!
