At the Arab Youth Media Forum, held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa delivered a powerful speech. This forum, part of the Arab Media Summit 2024, aims to empower and engage young people in the media industry.
Upon arrival, Sheikh Nasser was welcomed by Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.
In a segment titled “In Conversation: HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad,” he discussed the vital role of youth in Arab culture. He praised the UAE’s dedication to supporting Arab youth through initiatives like the Arab Media Forum, highlighting the importance of collective Arab efforts.
Sheikh Nasser emphasized the need to equip young Arabs with the skills to shape their nations’ futures. He noted that youth represent half of our present and all of our future. Citing Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, he stressed the value of national identity: “Those who do not have a past, do not have a present nor a future.”
He also highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to empowering its youth by providing growth opportunities, instilling confidence, and fostering a culture of hope and faith.
